DAQUANTA COPELAND
4
Raleigh City Council District C

DaQuanta Copeland the voice of Change. As a Leader in the community, I am committed to creating a healthy thriving city for All. With my extensive experience working in local government, I know what it takes to navigate the complicated governmental agencies, find solutions, and get things done.
I will be the Force of Change. The Change Agent for the individuals who has never felt their voices or votes mattered. I am the candidate that can resonate with governmental entities and across party lines. We’re at a pivotal point in our political landscape and it's more important than ever to elect the candidate that will not only represent a district but represent our city. I am the candidate that will build sustainable relationships with our residents, businesses, non-profits, and other governmental agencies.
With years of experience facilitating policy setting, addressing disparities within current policies, and dismantling systemic policies within local government while maintaining healthy and effective working relationships has fostered the dawning of a new day.
I have advocated on boards and committees to address the housing crisis, food insecurities, the lack of access technology, address fetal & maternal death rates, social & economic  injustices, while bridging the gaps between government and the people we serve.
